There is always something fantastic happening on campus and they are very welcoming to the surrounding community. Here are some ideas if you want to head to campus and their event page and event calendar.

Music Department (Music) . Many of these are performed at the Bing Concert Hall, which is a wonder in itself. But check out all of their performances. Some are FREE

Stanford Live (Performing Arts) I love the shows in The Studio which are somewhat casual and usually set up with a bar and cabaret tables. But don’t miss the newly renovated Frost Amphitheater shows or ones at the Bing Concert Hall, too. It’s fun to usher there and a great way to see the shows for FREE.

Stanford Continuing Studies (Classes) I took a fabulous class here on magic realism literature many years ago. These are great classes and some of my friends have made their best friends through these courses.
